Marking Menu

The Marking Menu is a 2-level utility which contains a range of frequently-used selection, handling and display tools by right-clicking in the Canvas. The second level is found by selecting the Sketch option. This displays a range of in-context sketch tools.

The Marking Menu can be used to select parts in the Canvas. Right-click in the Canvas and select the Move/Copy option. After the part for manipulation is selected, an information dialog is displayed, similar to the image below.

The Set Pivot icon can be used to change the point of origin of the selection.

The Create Copy icon is used to create a duplicate of the selected object.

By right-clicking in the Canvas, a subset of frequently used commands is displayed. This allows in-place modifications or manipulations to be performed on the parts. In addition, zoom and orbit commands as well as display options such as Show, Hide or Isolate can be accessed.

To activate a menu action, drag the cursor towards the command, then left-click anywhere inside the segment, similar to the illustration below. This will activate the Press Pull menu.
